Who is Duwayne Allman Kellog? What's the secret of the blue Dacia? What happenned to Luna-May in the Mazda pick up truck? Will Hellbender ever reform and will Country Road Records ever re-release their album? Is Luna-May forever destined to be an outsider artist or can she acheive commercial success? Will Duwayne ever get his Derekson Immobile phone working? What happened to Uncle John & cousin Ray? How many miles is Good Hope Alabama from Washington DC? Will Nate Kellog ever acheive his dream of winning the Indiannapolis 500 for Motorforce racing? How does Mark Zimmerman figure in all this? Does the end of the oil age signal the collapse of society? Do we all experience art in the same way or: Do we all get the joke? Is what we don't know as important as what we know? Does the act of proposing the existence of a fictional character serve to bring about their actual existence in a parallel universe? Can a coherent narrative be deduced given such scant "evidence"? Given the signals of human tragedy and catastrophe that we see in the world how, as an artist, does one condone applying so much creative energy and attention to such seemingly frivolous subject matter?
You tell me.
